PRIVACY — OWNER / LEGAL REVIEW DRAFT
Your attention is yours.
Draft updated September 16, 2026. This text must be reviewed by the owner and qualified legal counsel before viewer accounts are enabled.
The public Miami Hustle Prologue, animated Chapters 1–3, audio Prologue, and reader sample remain available without an account, email address, Hustle Credits, or payment. Phase 1 also prepares optional viewer accounts and referral features. Those account features remain disabled until the required Supabase configuration, database migration, and owner feature flags are in place.
Analytics
Vercel Analytics provides aggregate site measurement. Google Analytics can additionally measure page visits, traffic sources, and interactions such as Amazon-button clicks, Prologue and trailer plays, chapter YouTube-link clicks, completion milestones, sample downloads, viewer-platform calls to action, referral attribution, qualification milestones, and referral-link copy actions. Google Analytics storage is denied unless you explicitly allow it. Your choice is saved in this browser and can be changed below.
Approved campaign parameters may accompany analytics events. Events are designed not to contain email addresses, raw referral codes, authentication tokens, account identifiers, balances, signed URLs, or payment identifiers. A first-party browser value containing only the last seen referral count prevents the same progress event from firing on every dashboard visit. Google advertising storage, Google Signals, advertising personalization, and advertising user-data consent remain disabled regardless of your analytics choice. No advertising pixel is added in this phase.
Viewer account information
If accounts are enabled, Supabase Auth processes the email address, password credential, verification state, recovery requests, and session data needed to operate the account. The application profile uses an internal identifier and does not duplicate the email address in the public profile table. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored in the Miami Hustle application tables.
Referral and viewing information
If referrals are enabled, the platform stores a personal referral code, referral state and history, qualification results, episode unlock eligibility, and audit records. A referring viewer sees counts and progress—not an invitee’s email or identity. The platform does not collect a friend’s email or send an invitation on a viewer’s behalf.
For a visit made through a referral link, the platform may set a first-party, HTTP-only attribution cookie and store keyed digests derived from limited request signals for rate limiting and basic abuse review. It records server-capped Prologue progress events against that attribution. Because the Prologue is public media, Phase 1 progress is an abuse signal rather than cryptographic proof of a human view. Raw IP addresses are not designed to be stored in referral tables.
Transactional account communication
Email verification, password recovery, security, and necessary account-service messages are transactional communications required to operate a requested account. They are separate from optional marketing.
Optional marketing
Marketing consent defaults off and requires an explicit choice. Consent history records the choice, time, policy version, and source. If account settings are enabled, a viewer can change that choice there. The separate Book 2/audiobook Inner Circle remains marked Coming Soon until its subscriber and unsubscribe flow is independently configured and tested.
Hustle Credits and payments
Phase 1 contains configuration scaffolding only. It does not create a wallet, accept payment, activate pricing, or enable protected paid playback. Hustle Credits are intended as closed-loop entertainment credits only; they are not cryptocurrency, investments, transferable assets, cash equivalents, or redeemable for cash.
Retention, security, and deletion requests
The database design limits browser access with row-level security, keeps privileged credentials server-only, and uses append-only consent and audit history. No internet service can promise absolute security. Final retention periods and deletion/anonymization procedures require owner and legal approval before account launch.
If accounts are enabled, the account page can create a deletion request for review. A request does not instantly erase authentication, referral, entitlement, consent, or audit records; the owner must establish and follow the approved deletion and retention procedure.
External services
Amazon links open Amazon in a new tab, and Amazon’s privacy terms apply after leaving this site. Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate analytics. Supabase will provide account authentication and database services if configured. Public audio, video, captions, and the reader sample are served from the website. YouTube hosts the unlisted animated chapter videos; YouTube’s privacy terms apply after visitors follow those chapter links.
